All American Furniture Expo Expands Show
The All American Furniture Expo has been slated for August 2nd and 3rd, and they are making some big changes! Since 2010 the All American Furniture Expo has been committed to promoting quality, American-made furniture and accessories to retail stores around the country. Previously held at the Lancaster Convention Center, the expo has featured up to 90 hardwood and upholstered furniture manufacturers. Over the past six years the show has seen growth in both buyer and manufacturer interest, leading to a change in venues.
In November 2017 the All American Furniture Expo has announced they will expand their show by holding it in the Utz Building at the York Expo Center. This will almost double the amount of booth space and give more manufacturers the opportunity to exhibit with them. For buyers, this move will expose them to more manufacturers of a wide variety of strictly American-made furniture. Show manager Wanda Gregg mentions, “This move has been a long time coming. In 2016 we had to turn manufacturers away due to lack of space, and buyers have been requesting more upholstered furniture. Holding our show at the York Expo Center gives us the space to benefit more manufacturers while also offering buyers the products they are looking for.”
The Utz Building is surrounded by large parking lots, offering buyers and manufacturers free, easy, and accessible parking. These new parking options also give buyers the opportunity to easily bring a truck and trailer to bring their favorite pieces back to their store. Wanda Gregg had this to say about their new parking options. “The increase in parking was a huge upside for us as we chose this new building. It makes booth setup much easier for manufacturers, and will encourage more buyers to attend the show.”
