In 2016 the outdoor industry evolved in some very subtle, but interesting ways, most notably in the outdoor furniture industry. Over the past few years color has come into the industry in a big
way, and nothing has changed in 2016. To fit the summer party aesthetic consumers have begun implementing aqua marine colors to accent their patio or backyard. These colors perfectly accent the already popular dark colors found in cushioned patio furniture. Storage Sheds
The storage shed industry has also seen some big changes, including a huge innovation in the shed gutter. We wrote about this shortly after Springville Woodworks showcased their “Narvon Shed Gutter” at the 2016 Keystone Wholesale Shows and has gotten great reception from buyers. Springville has introduced the first 4-inch gutter made specifically for sheds, properly fitting the smaller structure. These gutters not only make the structure more attractive, but increase the longevity by keeping water runoff from the foundation. Nate graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a BS in Marketing in May of 2014 and came to us looking for a challenging marketing position.
